| Until one knows what the VG had for turbos and injectors (since not mentioned, going to assume it was stock turbos and stock 370cc injectors running @19psi) vs that 2JZ and massive turbo and 1000cc injectors @9psi isnt a really fair fight. 19psi on stock turbo and injectors is an overkill on the VG. Put the 2JZ back at factory twin turbos and factory 550cc injectors instead of that single turbo and 1000cc injectors and then run it @ 9psi against that VG and I bet the 2JZ loses. When modified you will notice that the Supra Twin Turbo needs around 18psi of boost to achieve the same hp the 300ZX Twin Turbo does at 15-16psi. See for yourself take a 300ZX Twin Turbo with all the basic mods and 555cc at 19psi . Now take a "BPU" Supra at 22psi and witness the theory in reality. The 300ZX will run higher trap speeds with the STOCK TURBOS than will the Supra with STOCK TURBOS at 22psi.
